About us
Project Stepping Stone (PSS) is a free college prep program serving ~100 of Indiana's top Hispanic/Latine high school students each year. Founded by the National Society of Hispanic MBAs in 2004, PSS is a life-changing opportunity. For twenty years, our goal at PSS has been simple—to prepare Indiana’s top Hispanic/Latine students for college and beyond by providing high-quality experiential pre-college learning & mentoring. We know that education is a key to economic mobility for our community and are passionate about supporting students reach their educational dreams. As we bring in our twentieth PSS cohort, we’re excited to engage our students and their families further and ensure that the generational impact of PSS continues! Project Stepping Stone is a program of ESCALA and is run by an all-volunteer staff.

Always great seeing our Project Stepping Stone alumni crushing it! Julia is a 2013 PSS alumna and is part of this year's IndyHub 1828 Leadership Project class. Keep making us proud—Sí se puede 💪🏽 Julia Martinez - IndyHub - Indiana Sports Corp
Meet #1828project leader Julia Martinez! Julia is an Indy native and is a part of the Indiana Sports Corp team as a Volunteer Coordinator. Through her role at Indiana Sports Corp and her involvement on the IndyVolved committee Julia has been able to connect with numerous organizations throughout the city, and helps others do the same through her volunteer advocacy. One thing she is most excited about in our city is all of the new developments happening, and the major growth potential that our city has, especially with the new Indy Eleven stadium.
