Have you been considering a Green Initiative at your organization? Businesses often overlook waste management until it becomes a visible problem. You can easily see overflowing bins, loose waste, and scrap piles cluttering your facility and taking up space. What you don’t see, however, is how much your company contributes to landfills annually.  Launching a company-wide green initiative restores your control over the workspace and shrinks your environmental footprint. Going green is good for the planet and can be great for your bottom line. In this blog, we’ll focus on an area where industrial recycling has helped businesses implement green initiatives. Learn more about the benefits of starting a recycling green initiative at your company here from our latest blog → https://lnkd.in/gsMi-_zN #greeninitiative #sustainability #recycling

Yesterday, some of our team members gathered at the annual Christl Classic to remember our teammate, Mike Christl. This event brings together family, friends, colleagues, and community to celebrate the life of one of the best. Hosted at Mistwood Golf Club in Romeoville, IL, this annual event is more than just a golf outing; it’s a day dedicated to storytelling, laughter, and honoring the incredible impact Mike had on all of us. Mike’s legacy lives on through the Christl Classic, which supports two causes close to his heart. The "Michael Christl Baseball Scholarship" at Bradley University, Mike’s alma mater, is awarded annually to a standout baseball player who exemplifies excellence, character, and leadership—qualities that Mike himself embodied. Additionally, the event provides ongoing support for Mike and Brandi's three wonderful children, ensuring that Mike’s love and dedication continue to shine through in their lives. We are deeply grateful for the support of everyone who participates in the Christl Classic, keeping Mike’s memory alive and strong. Here’s to the stories we share, the memories we cherish, and the legacy of a truly remarkable man. Thank you for helping us celebrate Mike in the way he would have wanted—with love, laughter, and a little bit of golf.

Wes Cramsey is highly valued for his collaborative spirit and dedication. Quincy Farm Products President Jerrod Evans says that Wes embodies the “One Team. One Dream. One Family.” value. Stephen Jones had a different core value in mind when thinking about him. “Wes embodies the spirit of our Core Value, Create Innovative Solutions. He steps up every day and makes QFP better. Despite being in a tough role, he maintains a great demeanor and creates solutions that work across all departments. We would not be where we are today without Wes.” It’s easy to see not only Wes’ impact on those around him, but why we selected to him to highlight this month! 🎉Yesterday, we enjoyed celebrating National Intern Day with our most recent intern, Mitchell Murphy! As he wraps up his final week with us, we couldn’t think of a better way to show our appreciation than with a catered lunch from Tiramisu and of course, cake! Mitchell has been a rockstar, playing a crucial role in helping our Quincy Support Center team launch our EHS Management software, KPA. His dedication and hard work made the rollout of this new system so much smoother. A huge thank you to Mitchell for all his contributions, and best wishes on your next adventure! 🎉

Leadership starts at the top. Spend any time with Bryan Stokes, and it is easy to see why Quincy Recycle is successful. Bryan’s commitment to the company and, more importantly, the employees is evident, and it empowers and inspires those around him. That trickles down through the entire company and helps to make Quincy Recycle the industry leader it has become today. Getting Bryan to talk about himself instead of his employees isn’t easy, but he made an exception for the company’s 50th Anniversary!
