"Material Recollection" is more than art—it's a tribute to our design culture at Quinn Evans. In collaboration with To Be Done Studio, we reimagined salvaged materials like wood lath, slate, clay tile, and aluminum medallion, transforming them into unique plaster casts now proudly displayed at the heart of our DC office. The collaborative, hands-on artmaking process mirrors our architectural approach—listening to understand, co-creating ideas, and translating them into the built environment. It also ties into our adaptive reuse work, where we reimagine existing spaces for new purposes—much like how we transformed the salvaged materials that inspired this piece.
