Ridgeview's Cardiac Rehabilitation team helps patients improve their quality of life after a cardiac event through health education, counseling and exercise training. Ridgeview’s Waconia Campus Emergency Department is certified by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) as a Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation (GEDA) recipient. This accreditation recognizes emergency departments that provide excellent care for older adults. Since 2021, the Waconia Campus Emergency Department has held the Level 3 GEDA and was the first health system in Minnesota to achieve this accreditation. This certification was recently renewed. Bringing Olympic-level dedication to pediatric rehabilitation, Ridgeview's Pediatric Rehab team went for the gold this week, showcasing their commitment to providing a fun, nurturing and creative environment. 

Ridgeview’s Sports Medicine team partners with 13 area schools to support student athletes. Our athletic trainers are onsite at the schools, on the sidelines at games, and available by phone to support student-athletes.    Maxwell “Max” Cerny, LAT, ACT, is an athletic trainer at Watertown-Mayer High School. His goal is to help athletes prevent and recover from injuries.
