A lot of the people that start working with me would feel too self-conscious to do this. They would feel judged, and like everyone was watching them. This is what I want to help them and you change. It's not just about losing weight, it is about freely enjoying days out with your kids, about having a go when they ask you to show them how to play hopscotch without feeling judged or self-conscious. That's not to say that you have to lose weight to feel more confident. It is saying that when you choose to invest in yourself, to make time to do things for you, to look after yourself in whatever way works for you, you show up as a happier, more confident person for your kids, and your family. If you want to focus on being the best version of you DM or comment 'NDA' and let's have a chat #bethebestversionofyou #loseweightfeelgreat #selfconfidencejourney

I don't know who needs to hear this today but perfect is overrated. You will not get long term results by believing that you need to perfectly stick to a defined set of unrealistic diet rules. You will get long term results by not giving up when you can't do it perfectly. So what you couldn't get to the gym yesterday, go today. Ok you ate a whole pizza, and dessert, you didn't fail. Get back to your usual food routine today. You will mess up, you're human, you will skip the gym and over eat occassionally. Getting back to it the next day (or as appropriate) will get you long term results. Want to give up on perfection, get the best results you've ever achieved, and be able to maintain them long term, all while feeling awesome? DM 'NDA' and make today the best day ever. #consistencyiskey #consistencyoverperfection #perfectionisoverrated

You've been on a plane and they've told you that in the event of an emergency to put your own mask on before helping others. There is a reason for this. You cannot show up as the best version of yourself for others if you don't show up for yourself first. Obviously, occasionally there are emergencies. But as a general rule you need to schedule in time for yourself to exercise, relax, meal prep, whatever it is that will help you acheive your goals, in the same way that you would schedule in a work meeting. Prioritising your health is not a luxury. I am not suggesting you abandon your kids to spend two hours a day in the gym, but you need to set aside some time to meet your needs that is scheduled in non-negotiable. I get it, I struggle with this too. But I am a better person if I go to the gym, eat filling meals at regular intervals, and get a good nights sleep. I love it when my clients tell me that they have prioritised themselves and they are feeling great, and I want you to feel that too DM 'NDA' and let's chat today. #loseweightfeelgreat #healthandwellbeing #healthylifestyle

It is 7 weeks until Christmas. So there’s no point starting anything new now. It will be my for the new year. That’s what most people are thinking. But are you most people? Because in 7 weeks you could have still enjoyed the party season while also making progress toward your goals. Or you could be eating your turkey feeling a bit shit about how much you have eaten and drank over the last few weeks, thinking about the uphill slog that January is going to be. You get to choose. But if you choose to make the next 7 weeks count DM ‘NDA’ you will be tucking into your turkey dinner while feeling your best on Christmas Day. #loseweightfeelgreat #helpmeloseweight #dontwaitfortomorrow

Soup is a great choice for colder weather, it is easy to make, and a perfect family meal choice. This bacon and lentil soup is super satisfying, full of flavour, and served with cheesey toast for an extra luxurious touch. All this for only 443 calories and with 28g protein. This is sure to be a family favourite this winter. To serve 4 8 smoked bacon medallions - chopped 100g red lentils Large red onion – diced 300g butternut squash – cubed 1 large red pepper – chopped Chicken stock pot Cumin, smoked paprika, paprika 1tsp each 1.4 litre water Soften chopped onion and bacon in frying pan for 5 minutes. Add spices and cook for 1 minute. Add lentils, squash and pepper cook for one minute. Add water and chicken stock pot. Bring to the boil then simmer for 25 minutes. Blend (may need to be done in batches) served with cheese toast. I used a slice of Sourdough with cathedral city high protein cheddar. Tip: add more or less water depending on how thick you prefer it to be. Give it a try and let me know what you think. #highproteinrecipes #weightlossmeals #highproteinmeals

If you are, 30, 40, 50, now is the time to consider what old age will look like. If you struggle to walk up a few flights of stairs today, you are less likely to be living independently well into old age. It is not too late to make a difference. You can improve your fitness today, and your long-term health. Health is not a luxury. It is worth investing in today for a better tomorrow. You don’t have to make huge changes or huge sacrifices to have a significant effect on your health. DM or comment ‘NDA’ I’d love to help you to feel better and improve your future health prospects. #agewell #healthylifestyle #getfitgethealthy

We are really good at looking after everyone else, but think that we need to carry on no matter what. If your child is ill you probably make them a hot chocolate and let them watch TV to rest. If you're ill you think you still need to work, cook, clean, go to the gym, eat healthily ... You need to parent yourself. If you're ill rest, the gym and cleaning will still be there next week. It's ok to rest when your body needs it. Just get back into your usual routine as soon as you feel able, and remember to take it a bit easier in the gym and build back up slowly to avoid injury. You need to treat yourself with the same compassion that you'd give your kids. If you want someone to have your back, to support you, to encourage you to look after yourself DM 'NDA' I've got you. #lookafteryourbody #selfcarematters #bekindtoyourself

Long term weight loss isn’t about giving up all the things you enjoy. It is about incorporating them in a sustainable way and making conscious decisions. If you really like biscuits, you can include them, but instead of mindlessly eating the whole pocket, sit down with a cup of tea and have a couple. This is a much more enjoyable way to eat and won’t lead to feelings of guilt or failure. You can apply this thinking to any foods/drinks that you enjoy but usually ban when you’re trying to lose weight. Got cake in the kitchen don’t nibble a forkful every time you’re in there, cut a slice, put it on a plate, get a fork, sit down, and enjoy it. Don’t drink a glass of wine while you cook, sit down and savour it. It really isn’t about cutting anything out, you can include your favourite foods, and you’ll probably enjoy them more when they’re not also wrapped up with a side of guilt and shame. Want some help to shift your mindset, work on your relationship with food, lose some weight, and feel your best?
