We're proud to invest in tomorrow's tech leaders, right here in Detroit! Since 2019, Rocket Community Fund has been working to create meaningful pathways into tech careers through our partnership with Grow Detroit's Young Talent (GDYT) and Wayne State University. This summer we hosted an innovative Generative AI workshop that brought together Detroit Public Schools Community District high school students and WSU honor student mentors. The event exemplified our commitment to preparing Detroit youth for the careers of the future through hands-on tech exposure and mentorship. As Jonathan Pulley M.A. noted,"To diversity our workforce, we must invest in the future. We know that the more exposure students have to innovative technology, the more likely they are to consider the tech field when exploring careers." We couldn't agree more. We're proud to see this partnership grow and support the next generation of Detroit talent! Learn More: https://bit.ly/3SL2Yti

About us
In 2010, Quicken Loans (now Rocket Mortgage) moved its headquarters and 3,600 team members from suburban Detroit to the heart of downtown. Since then, Rocket Companies has grown to include more than 25,000 team members in downtown Detroit, as well as offices in Cleveland, Charlotte, and Phoenix. As our numbers have grown, so has our commitment to doing well by doing good. The Rocket Community Fund was created to harness the incredible power of our organization and find innovative ways to make an impact in each of our home communities. Through our investments, we believe we can create value not only for our business but for everyone. Our mission is to simplify complex and inequitable systems to ensure that every American has access to stable, healthy housing.

Thread tie: supporting the next generation with the resources they need to thrive, while empowering our team members to make an impact! A big thank you to our #Phoenix Rocket Companies team members who recently #volunteered with Southwest Human Development, painting Little Libraries and sorting through donated books and school supplies for children in our communities. Together, we're strengthening the communities we call home!

Bridging the #digitaldivide in #Detroit takes a village. That's why we're grateful for like-minded partners including Connect 313, Detroit Parks Coalition, City of Detroit and funders including Detroit Pistons and Knight Foundation who share our vision for a more equitable Detroit, where digital access is free to all. Thanks to our collective efforts, five Detroit public parks have free wi-fi. About 12,600 residents are within a half-mile walking distance of the five parks, and 25,000 people have used the wi-fi networks as of August. We're excited to see how initiatives like this will continue to connect and support our community! Learn More: https://bit.ly/3M46dIP

🚀 Leaders who live our culture and lead by example! 🚀 The Rocket Companies Z Team joined our Executive Director Laura Grannemann yesterday to volunteer with the Joe Louis Greenway Partnership (JLGP). Our senior leaders helped beautify the new recreation space and repot flowers for residents in the neighborhood. The Z team also had the opportunity to tour the new space and learn about how the Gilbert Family Foundation and other funders are supporting the construction of the Joe Louis Greenway - a 29 mile recreational pathway that will connect residents across 23 neighborhoods. This experience was a tangible example of our For More Than Profit approach. Together, we're tying threads between our commitment to Detroit neighborhoods and empowering our team members and leaders to make a positive impact. It's just one of the many ways we're working together to help everyone home. 🏡
