As another successful year is coming to a close, we are honored to highlight the 6 well-deserving Roers employees who received our Annual Recognition Awards for 2023! The awards consist of: the Rookie of the Year Award, the Community Service Award, the Success in the Office Award, two Success in the Field Awards, and the Safety Award. Congratulations to those who received the awards for 2023: Rookie of the Year - Cody Curry This award is given to an employee within their first two years with Roers for an outstanding effort to learn their job, serve our customers and co-workers in an exceptional manner, and to exemplify excellence in their daily performance. Success in the Office - Dave Reis This award is given to an employee from the Roers office who, through attitude, attendance and work effort, exemplifies how Roers is building success and stronger communities. This individual provides quality of work, professional courtesy, a “can-do” attitude, responsiveness, convenience and team effort. Success in the Field - Sean Meyer & Jay Fearing These individuals exemplify through attitude, attendance, and work effort how Roers is building success and stronger communities. This individual provides quality of work, professional courtesy, a "can-do" attitude, responsiveness, convenience and puts forth team effort. Community Service Award - Heidi Knutson This award is given to an individual who freely gives of him/herself with their time and/or talent to benefit the community in which they live. Safety Award - Broc Beyers Awarded to a Roers employee who exemplifies safety day in and day out. This employee goes above and beyond to work safely, following safety rules and regulations. By being a “safety champion” they help report near misses, attend trainings, and help advocate with peers the importance of safety. Thank you for everything you do for Roers!

Last Thursday, we celebrated the one and only Rick Roers on his upcoming retirement. It was a great evening that brought together current and old coworkers, subcontractors, family, friends and more. So many stories were told and many more well wishes were given.  We've been so lucky to have such a strong leader in the field for the last 45 years with Roers.
