Congratulations to rStream cofounders Ian Goodine and Ethan Walko for being selected to Cohort 2024 of the Activate Fellowship! The Activate Fellowship is a two year funded position transforming scientists into high-impact entrepreneurs. Activate supports fellows working to reinvent the world by launching startups to address climate change and other global challenges. Since 2015, Activate Fellow led startups have broken world records, created new market categories, and attracted over $2.3B in follow on investment from top investors and corporations. This week, rStream's founders Ian Goodine and Ethan Walko met with Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll! We were able to connect on the state's ambitious initiatives in both #climate and #robotics, and rStream's pivotal role in empowering materials management companies and their clients to optimize the capture of materials for #manufacturing through a circular economy. It was an honor to represent the MassRobotics Accelerator cohort and Massachusetts Technology Collaborative.

A look back on the #ClimatetechSummit at Greentown Labs. In the morning, rStream was selected to pitch in front of a packed house of investors, corporates, and partners. Our CEO, Ian Goodine, delivered an exciting pitch about our latest traction and the sustainable benefits rStream will create through advanced waste collection. In the afternoon, we demonstrated our #AI recognition and sorting #technology while fielding questions throughout the lab showcase. Just a year ago, this event was our first day in our new lab; today, the progress is beyond recognition. Stay tuned for next year!

We are proud to announce that we have successfully installed the AuditPRO system at University of Massachusetts Amherst's Campus Center in partnership with UMass Dining Sustainability! Over the course of the semester, the system will use state-of-the-art AI technology to allow UMass to gather real-time data about their waste stream composition. This data is typically used for ESG compliance reports and benchmarking for improvement plans, especially in anticipation of rStream's on-site waste sorting system. We are thrilled to form this partnership and to support the one of the largest universities in New England in their transformational sustainability goals!
