SNAP RELIEF UPDATE: SC DSS will automatically reissue 55% of your September SNAP if you live in one of the 28 following counties: Abbeville Aiken Allendale Anderson Bamberg Barnwell Calhoun Cherokee Chester Colleton Edgefield Fairfield Greenville Greenwood Hampton Jasper Laurens Lexington McCormick Newberry Oconee Orangeburg Pickens Richland Saluda Spartanburg Union York The benefits will be issued before or on Tuesday, October 15. If you live in a county that is not listed, you can request replacement benefits from SC DSS! Make sure to submit your Affidavit of Loss (DSS Form 1634B) by October 26. You can download the form from dss.sc.gov, fill it out, and submit it to your local county office. Don't forget to include verification of the outage—examples are available on the DSS website.
