The SCICU team and 21 member independent colleges and universities in South Carolina are extra proud of our Board Chair Willis Cantey upon receiving the Charleston Area Entrepreneur of the Year award from The Harbor Entrepreneur Center!
It was a night to remember at our Annual Founder's Ball this past Friday, as we recognized Willis Cantey as The Entrepreneur of the Year 🏆 As Chairperson of the The Harbor Entrepreneur Center, I have the distinct privilege and opportunity to showcase our great community and the entrepreneurs who impact the growth here in Charleston. The uniqueness of this award is that it is not a lifetime achievement award. It recognizes the individual who has achieved one of the greatest entrepreneurial accomplishments over the past year. It's voted on by the entrepreneurs of Charleston, and only they are allowed to nominate individuals. And let me tell you, Willis has had one of those years! It has been his vision, leadership, and drive that sets Willis apart and why we choose him for the 2024 Awardee. Through his dedication, perseverance, and ability to keep raising the bar, Willis has once again proven what it means to excel as a business leader. Please join me in congratulating our Charleston Entrepreneur of the Year, Willis Cantey! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Special thanks to Patrick Bryant, Grady Johnson, Ryan Fiorini, John Osborne, Kim McManus and our entire HEC Forum Members, Mentors and Partners
