Our founder, Christi Turner was honored to be a part of Recycle Colorado's Summit for Recycling - presenting on how to implement CIRC (Controls Intended to Remove Contamination). Scraps works hard to mitigate contamination in our compost stream by partnering with Eco-Products! We use Eco-Products at our events and make it easy for our customers to have a CMA-approved compostable product option!
The Summit for Recycling wraps up today and we were thrilled to attend and sponsor Recycle Colorado 's summit again this year. Our teams love engaging with our hard working friends across the value chain of responsible materials management, and composting and recycling in Colorado. We toured some amazing facilities in Fort Collins and on the Colorado State University campus and listened to some great speakers on overcoming barriers to circularity. Our own PZW Meghan Ibach presented with Christi Turner, founder of our newest Composter Hauler Distributor partner, Scraps about implementing CIRC to mitigate contamination in compost streams. Especially when it comes to contamination. 🤎 Hear how Scraps keeps contamination at bay with consistent communication in their residential and commercial compost hauling program. Learn how Scraps is implementing CIRC (Controls Intended to Remove Contamination), a program created by Eco Products to systematically address contamination upstream to support compost manufacturers and increase acceptance of certified compostables.
