Wow, what a moment! 🎉 I’m incredibly honoured to be named one of the Top 100 Women in Sales for 2024, in collaboration with Demandbase and Women in Sales 13 years ago, I jumped into sales, starting in one of the toughest roles—SDR. At that time, the landscape wasn’t particularly diverse, and I often found myself searching for female role models and leaders to guide me. As I moved into leadership, I knew I was passionate about more than just hitting targets. My drive came from enabling excellence, developing people, and creating an environment where individuals could thrive and win. That passion is what continues to push me today, and I’m delighted to be doing that now as we grow the team at ScreenCloud. Power doesn’t come from a title or position. It comes from lifting others up, fostering growth, and leading with purpose and authenticity. I’m truly grateful to be recognised alongside such amazing, talented women who are shaping the future of sales. A huge thank you to the Women in Sales team for this incredible recognition. Here’s to continuing the journey of growth and impact—together! 💪

The screens at Euston station. Where do I start? Over the past couple of weeks, there has been a surprising amount of screen-based chat, centred on Euston, one of London’s main railway stations. We’ve heard from advertisers, commuters & behavioural psychologists, so I figured it’s time for screen experts to weigh in. Here’s the background: The departure boards above the platforms at Euston were switched to smaller boards in the centre of the concourse to reduce overcrowding & the “wall of people” that formed in front of them. The original boards were then swapped to large advertising screens &, despite effectively reducing overcrowding, passengers criticised the change for making it harder to find information. So here’s my take: What Network Rail did was 50% there - swapping the old departure boards for larger screens & introducing more screens at lower levels was the right thing to do. But they needed to introduce zoning on the large screens too - using them for a mixture of advertising AND departure info. By introducing strategically placed low-level screens as well as larger departure boards, Network Rail could control the flow of traffic, keeping main walkways clear of overcrowding without compromising on the experience for passengers. Not only would this approach give a better user experience but it would also improve the effectiveness of the advertising - see my previous posts on broccoli & ice-cream. Network Rail could also make improvements to their “content” by prioritising imminent departures with banners on the big screen. This would help commuters that are in a rush to quickly find the info they need whilst allowing leisurely commuters to filter off to a smaller screen. Screens aren’t the problem at Euston. A lack of knowledge about how to make screens effective tools for communication is. If you’re reading this Network Rail, I’d love to help you find a better solution 😉 #ScreensThatCommunicate #LondonEuston #Euston #NetworkRail

How does IKEA use digital signage for the best impact? And are they using it to it's full potential? This journey around the digital signage of IKEA shows how strategic screen placement can enhance the customer experience! In a large establishment like IKEA, it’s a great way to provide information to your audience and give them the autonomy to make purchasing decisions. But seeing a broken or idle screen? It disrupts the flow and creates doubt. With ScreenCloud, you can stay on top of it by knowing instantly when your screens are down. Managing a large fleet of screens becomes easy with features like screen groupings, offline notifications, remote device management tools, and more. #DigitalSignage #retailsignage #digitalsignagecontent #digitaldisplay
