🏆 🏆 🏆 Three Sellen projects were named as winners at NAIOP Washington State's Night of the Stars! We'll share more on each project throughout the week. First up: Microsoft's East Campus in Redmond. We are honored to have worked with Microsoft and its partners to build the award-winning East Campus in Redmond. The campus has been named the Sustainable Development of the Year at the 2024 Night of the Stars Awards event, hosted by the NAIOP of Washington state. The NAIOPWA Night of the Stars program recognizes the best commercial real estate projects in the state. The new East Campus reflects Microsoft’s commitment to employees and the Puget Sound community. It is designed to enhance productivity and create optimal spaces for hybrid work, thoughtfully built with a focus on sustainability, accessibility, wellness and fostering community. Congratulations to the team who made this innovative project possible!

Behind every great project, there's a story. Sellen's annual employee photo contest gave our team a chance to share theirs. Here’s a look at some of the standout moments they captured on the jobsite over the past year, which will be featured in Sellen's 2025 Calendar. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our 150+ submissions this year. 📸

Today, we're looking back at the Swedish Issaquah Campus project, which was completed 13 years ago! 🏗 Located on an 18-acre greenfield site, the project included an acute-care hospital, an outpatient cancer center, and a five-floor medical office building. The hospital features ambulatory care services, outpatient primary care and specialty services, physician offices, outpatient surgery, infusion therapy, lab and pharmacy spaces and advanced imaging services. Watch the video to see the project from start to finish!

As #ConstructionInclusionWeek continues, we are excited to share that Sellen's 2024 ANEW fundraising campaign has generated more than $95,000 to help people in our community prepare for successful careers with local trade unions. This year, nearly 50 local subcontractors and suppliers contributed to the campaign. Thank you to all of our partners for continuing to champion this work! ANEW is a nonprofit pre-apprenticeship organization for people interested in joining local trades. ANEW's Trades Rotation Program provides nine weeks of training and wraparound support services for women and people who identify as women, providing each individual with opportunities to try their hand at a variety of different trades. Earlier this year, a cohort of ANEW students visited Sellen's 35 Stone project to experience what it's like in the field and ask our superintendents about our work. Sellen remains committed to building a more inclusive construction industry, and we believe organizations like ANEW play a vital role in advancing this work.

At Sellen, we believe that diversity and inclusion are essential to building stronger teams within our company and the broader construction industry. As we celebrate #ConstructionInclusionWeek, we're committed to fostering a workplace where every voice is heard, valued, and respected. This week is a reminder to not only champion diversity but also take actionable steps to ensure equity and inclusion at every level—on job sites, in the office, and throughout our communities.
