We're pleased to announce that our team completed our 4th and final slab on grade pour yesterday at City of Kent, Washington East Hill Operations Center. This is a tremendous milestone for the team as they have maintained their schedule for the last couple of months even with multiple revisions, late delivery of critical information, and weather delays. Kudos to Superintendent Jon Marks, Senior Project Manager Brian Nilsson, our field crews, SCI Infrastructure, Grizzly Rebar, The Conco Companies finishers, as well as Project Manager Bryce N. and Intern Angel Nunez for their effort and support in doing everything necessary to maintain these dates ahead of steel erection scheduled to start on Monday 8/12. Great job team!

Day 2 Complete! We had a full day today, starting with a great #Safety Presentation from Amanda “Mandi” Kime, MS-SHM, BS, BA, CSP, CHST and a #Resources & Org Talk with ACE,ANEW, & Sawhorse Revolution for our older campers. Our returners got to start decorating our #parkbench & the first time campers #built & decorated their very own #toolbox! After lunch, we had an amazing panel of #womeninthetrades speak about their #journeys, share some #advice, and #encourage the campers. While our new campers finished decorating, our returners got the #opportunity to wire up a jbox with Prime Electric & learn a little about what #electricians do each day. We finished out the day with a #informative and fun tour (& hot!) of a #WSDOT #roadimprovement and #expansion project with Guy F. Today was our favorite part of Bayley summers - INTERN PRESENTATION DAY! Our three offices met in-person and virtually to hear what our Washington and California interns learned at each of their project sites. The day ended with the longstanding tradition of a hike up Poo Poo Point Trail with CEO Steve Grasso.
