This trail was funded by the One Cent Infrastructure Sales Tax, or Penny Sales Tax. The Penny Sales Tax is levied on the sale of consumer goods to visitors, residents and businesses, helping to fund local projects like park enhancements, stormwater system improvements, and new sidewalks and roads.
