LLP Project Manager: Mary Haffner Project Superintendent: Matt Smith Sisterson & Co., a public accounting and consulting firm, has been based in Pittsburgh since 1926. The firm was located in the Grant Building in Downtown Pittsburgh for nearly 90 years and decided to move into the historic Union Trust Building. Their new space includes an open office area for hybrid employees, multiple collaboration rooms, and a kitchenette with wood ceiling clouds. The space also received updated MEPs, flooring, paint, and casework. Construction fatalities hit highest number since 2011 Construction last year counted the highest number of workplace deaths in the sector since 2011, according to newly released federal data. What Makes Sense? Trade School vs College Traditional 2-year or 4-year College may not be for everyone. According to the Education Writers Association, the number of high school graduates attending a trade school has increased 4.9% post-pandemic, while the number of students enrolling in university has declined. There are many benefits to attending a trade school over a college. Trade schools are free to students, whereas college students accrue debt. During the apprenticeship program, apprentices will earn income, but typical college students do not.
