Highlights from Day 2 at HLTH USA: 👩⚕️ The American Medical Association's Physician Innovation Network held several panels today. These offered CME and connected physicians with startups. I was on a panel with Margaret Lozovatsky, MD, FAMIA, Jennifer Bepple, MD, MMCi, Michael Han, MD MBA, and Brian Hoberman MD MBA discussing best practices for piloting new tech with healthcare startups. Major points included addressing a major need, involving physicians early, and setting up strategic pilots with specific goals (time saved, increased patient and physician satisfaction, and improved revenue streams). 💵 Scrub Capital hosted a breakfast connection and walk. I enjoyed meeting with physicians who are building and funding new startups. Thank you, Rebecca Mitchell, MD and Jonathan Slotkin for organizing this! 🏆 Congrats to the startups that won The Digital Health Hub Foundation - Digital Health Awards. The awards recognized early startups and leaders in several categories. These include: Homeward and Pear Suite for Health Equity, Healthy.io and Epitel for Home Health Diagnostic, NeuroFlow for Mental Health, GoCheck Kids for Pediatric Health, Flosonics Medical and Eyenuk, Inc. for Provider Diagnostic, and ŌURA for Women's Health. 🏎️ Thanks to SpringTide Ventures for hosting an investor event at Speedvegas! It was great to meet healthcare investors and founders and race them in souped-up go-carts!
