Today we’re thrilled to announce that PointOne has raised a $3.5M seed round, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, General Catalyst, and Y Combinator. Other investors include a Cooley LLP-affiliated investment fund, Soma Capital, Rebel Fund, Ritual Capital, Harvest Venture Partners, Script Capital, Katey Caldwell (Twenty Two Ventures), Christopher Golda, and more, including several of our customers. When we set out on this journey, our mission was clear: save lawyers time and money by automating the admin tasks they hate most. Over time, this has expanded to supporting firm leaders with high quality data, helping them navigate the shift to AI-enabled legal services. Today, PointOne Time captures data from all the applications attorneys work in—documents, web, emails, calendar events, and more—and uses AI to interpret them and generate complete time entries. PointOne Billing Hub brings bill review into 2024 with real-time collaboration, insights, and an AI assistant that flags and suggests fixes for common billing issues. This capital will enable us to further improve our core time and billing products, as well as expand our suite of capabilities.
