This week is #HereditaryCancerAwareness week and #GynaeCancerAwarenessMonth in the UK. At the NHS Genomic Medicine Service, we are working to improve the early detection of cancer and access to personalised care for patients. People with #LynchSyndrome are more likely to get colorectal cancer and other cancers, and at a younger age (before 50). Identifying patients who have Lynch Syndrome means they can be monitored from a younger age, meaning tumours could be caught sooner. We are collecting feedback from people on their experience of Lynch Syndrome screening to improve the service. Find our survey here: https://lnkd.in/e2EAH2uh. Your insights and experiences are invaluable in improving patient experience and care. For more information on Lynch Syndrome screening, please click here: https://lnkd.in/eMCN3y2B
