Through our Patriot Pets program, a U.S. Marine was reunited with two dogs he nursed back to health while deployed in Georgia. Latte and Biscuit, who survived canine parvovirus thanks to the service member's daily vet visits and care, joined him and his wife at LAX on June 29. The fully recovered dogs joyfully greeted their new owners and are now thriving in their new forever home. You can read more about this happy reunion in KTLA's article - https://lnkd.in/ewz5andX

Last month, we had the opportunity to collaborate with the University of Denver's Collegiate Recovery Program for a special event. The DU Recovery Program provides support to students on their journey toward recovery from addiction and substance use disorder. For the event, we teamed up with Soul Dog Rescue to create a puppy pen where students could learn more about our PAWsitive Recovery program, explore available recovery services on campus, and spend quality time with puppies! It was a day filled with joy, connection, and meaningful conversations. We thank our PAWsitive Recovery volunteers, the Collegiate Recovery Program, and Soul Dog Rescue for their incredible partnership and for making this event possible. 🐾 #spcai #spcainternational #pawsitiverecovery #animalrescue #wedorecover #puppies #dogs #recoverycommunity#universityofdenver #collegiatepecoveryprogram #recoverysupport #addictionrecovery #souldogrescue #animalwelfare

Last year marked the beginning of our Apollo's Aid Refugee Program, a beacon of hope for displaced families and their furry companions. Thanks to our generous donors, we ensure they can stay together by providing financial aid and resources, making heartwarming reunions possible. Recently, our efforts enabled a beautiful reunion between Amira, a Sudanese refugee, and her cherished German Shepherd, Tonja. Witnessing Amira's reunion with Tonja fills our hearts with joy, reminding us of the profound impact of our collective efforts. Thank you for being a vital part of our journey and for making moments of love and reunion possible. #animalwelfare #refugee #nonprofit

Nina is a sweet pup rescued by a British military member and his family in 2019. She helped them with the mourning process of losing a family member to cancer, bringing them immense comfort when they needed it most. When the family had to relocate due to PCS orders, they were concerned with the financial burden of moving their dog, Nina. They were to move from Beaufort, SC, to the UK. And since the soldier's wife is American, she cannot work in the UK. This and the costs of caring for their young child made the moving costs more overwhelming. Through our Apollo's Aid program, we were able to assist Nina's devoted family with her travel and logistics to their new home. Enjoy this happy reunion video in the UK! We are beyond happy to have helped their family stay together! #animalwelfare #militaryfamily #military #dogs
