The QPR mission is to reduce #suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven #SuicidePrevention training. Taught in a clear, concise format, QPR training will help to identify warning signs of #suicide, how to get help for someone in crisis and how to apply QPR training with someone who may be suicidal. Congratulations to Jamie Powell, SummitStone Clinical Program Supervisor, for her nomination for the 2024 RARE Community Leadership Award and her recognition at the Communities in Action: Leadership Awards on September 30, 2024. The award is sponsored by the Northern Colorado Collaborative for Addiction and Recovery and celebrates individuals who have demonstrated community leadership, a commitment to equity and systems change to build a society that provokes greater access to fair and just health outcomes across sectors for #substanceuse. Jamie was nominated by a staff member at the NORTH COLORADO HEALTH ALLIANCE for partnership in providing clinical supervision to peer specialists and care coordinators working towards addiction counseling credentials, and for her work with clients and program development for Integrated Care and MAT/SUD services at Sunrise Community Health.

The City of Loveland’s Street Outreach program, managed by SummitStone, is preparing to launch in the coming weeks. In July, the City finalized its contract with us to create and operate the program.
