The athletic facilities at San Diego Unified School District's Marston Middle School received a full upgrade for the 2025 school year 🏀⚽ Sundt's California Building team delivered a brand-new, 12,000-square-foot gymnasium with basketball, volleyball and badminton courts, plus a joint-use field featuring a running track, sprint track, long jump area and fresh landscaping. These upgrades create a dynamic, multi-use space as part of the Play All Day partnership between San Diego Unified and the City of San Diego; the joint-use field will be used by students during school hours and by the public after school hours and during school breaks. Thank you to RNT Architects for another successful project together. Learn more about what we're building in California: https://bit.ly/3Rto6mU

In the small city of Albion, Idaho, it was all hands on deck as heavy rain led to snowmelt, putting homes and businesses in the path of major flooding. Sundt's team for Idaho Transportation Department's Heyburn Interchange project joined the community in water diversion efforts, bringing crews and equipment to help speed up the sandbagging process. Says Project Manager Scott Webb, "Our team coordinated a truck with sand, a skid steer with slinger bucket to fill sand bags and several employee-owners to help with the efforts. We wanted to support the local community and show they can count on us." #SundtService

🎉Sundt's renovation of the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club was recognized as a finalist for a Real Estate Development (RED) Award in the Redevelopment Project of the Year category! The renovation preserved the Biltmore's iconic architecture while enhancing amenities. The project, completed in two phases, introduced new member facilities, a restaurant, rooftop lounge, event spaces and resort-style landscaping. Honoring the site's legacy, Sundt used board-form concrete to blend modern and historic elements seamlessly. We're thrilled for this recognition from AZ Big Media, and a huge shoutout to our team for their partnership on this successful project: JDM Partners, Douglas Fredrikson Architects, Canyon State Electric, Tempe Mechanical, Sun Valley Masonry and Aspen Construction.

Meet Paul Larson, Sundt's newest craft training instructor! 🎉 Paul joined our Craft Workforce Development team to spearhead the industrial ironworker apprenticeship program. His journey with Sundt began through Central Arizona College’s heavy equipment operation program, leading to his first role as a laborer on industrial projects in Phoenix. Growing up in a local Arizona agricultural community, Paul was introduced to the skilled trades early through career and technical education (CTE) programs in high school. Over the past six years, he's sharpened his skills and is ready to pass on his knowledge to the next generation of #SkilledBuilders. His advice? 💡 “When you dedicate your time to bettering your life and learning a new skill, you’ll reap both personal and professional rewards. Invest in yourself—and do it with a great company like Sundt.” Welcome to the team, Paul!
