Whether you know there are things you need to do in your job search and you're just "not feeling it" or you're feeling depleted in general and can't seem to muster the energy to "do the thing" you need to do, try experimenting with Type One and Type Two Actions. Type One Actions are anything that boosts your energy level and mood...i.e. what Jane MacGonigal in SuperBetter calls Power-Ups. Doing these not only brings more joy into the moment and your life, they also give you the fuel that recharges your batteries and...that you can use to do the tasks you need to do. Type Two Actions are anything that brings you a bit closer to your goal or a bit farther along your path. These are related to what Mark Manson calls Minimal Viable Actions or BJ Fogg, PhD describes as Tiny Habits.
