Congratulations Westwood Community Church for winning the 2023 Recommissioning Project of the Year Award! Thank you CenterPoint Energy for the support and recognition at the CNP Technical Conference this June. Westwood was experiencing high energy bills and an over-stretched facility staff. The past 9 months, natural gas consumption is down 45%, equivalent to $43,000. The project was so successful, the church didn’t have to invest in larger offering plates. Great job Jim Theis. Thank you Paul Albinson (left), Eric Johansen (right), and Nicole Murphy, Mark Ginsbach, CEM for your contribution to make it happen!

Westwood Community Church wished for lower utility bills this Christmas and that was exactly what was in the stocking! $40,000. Way to go team! A Recommissioning Study identified ~36.5% of the annual electric usage and ~29.4% of the annual gas usage. Over $40,000 has been saved in just 6 months to-date!
