I've been in B2B marketing for 10 years now. And there's 2 things I'm sure of... 1. No one reads your 30 page ebooks 2. ebooks are not integrated campaigns Unfortunately, many marketing teams still believe in both. Integrated campaigns consist of understanding a few things: • Understanding financial planning • GTM territory planning and goals • Best performing channels and tactics • KPIs to measure success And then coordinating across multiple teams to execute. Join Mark Kilens, Satya Gadepalli and myself as dive deep into how to turn your 2025 plans into integrated revenue campaigns. 10.16 @ 1pm ET. Link in the comments 👇

Are we prioritizing search rankings over genuinely helping our audience? When SEO tactics focus more on algorithms, we: → Exploit search inefficiencies → Create copycat content → Sacrifice user experience → Overuse common templates → Prioritize ranking over value → Struggle with monetization → Cling to outdated paradigms all while missing the mark. So do this instead: → Focus on people-centric content → Create unique, valuable content → Embrace succinctness and impact → Align with marketing best practices → Prioritize user needs over algorithms And most of all, ensure your content genuinely helps users. The result? More effective marketing and a truly satisfied audience. Check out this clip from Nigel Stevens as he breaks it down. Want to watch the full thing? https://lnkd.in/e_KfWbFe

Remember when hiding white text on a white background was considered cutting-edge SEO? And that's not all: → Hidden Text: Tactics like hiding keywords in white text on white backgrounds were standard. → Keyword Variations: Creating separate pages for every slight variation of a keyword was common practice. → Link Building: Simple strategies like acquiring links from WordPress blog posts made you an SEO expert. Yet many company executives still have expectations rooted in these outdated practices. And early SEO often contradicted traditional marketing best practices, leading to misconceptions. Understanding why certain SEO myths persist is crucial. It's important to bring executives up to speed on how SEO has transformed. Modern SEO focuses on high-quality content, user intent, and ethical practices. Search engines have evolved to penalize manipulative tactics. Looking back helps us appreciate how far we've come in the SEO world. Let's focus on sustainable strategies that align with current best practices. What outdated SEO tactics do you remember using? Check out this insightful clip from our masterclass with Nigel Stevens and Mark Kilens to learn more. Did you miss it? Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/e_KfWbFe

Think AI adoption is all about cutting-edge tech? Think again. Nick Bennett and Mark Kilens reveal a surprising truth in the latest GTM News Desk episode. Apple: https://lnkd.in/eb-XF57u Spotify: https://lnkd.in/eagUj7iJ TACK Network: https://lnkd.in/et4NJN6E → Share your thoughts. After listening, share your biggest takeaway. Marketers: Are you focusing too much on AI and forgetting the real problem? Here's the 1 reminder you need to hear today. Focus on solving problems, not just showcasing tech. "People thought people cared about AI because it was AI, not because of how AI is going to solve my problems." Let me explain ↓ - AI is powerful, but it's just a tool. - Customers care about solutions, not the tech itself. - Lead with value, not the technology. The key is understanding your audience's pain points. Here's how: 1. Identify the real problem your customers face ↳ Understand their needs and challenges. 2. Show how your solution addresses these problems ↳ Focus on the benefits and outcomes. 3. Introduce the technology as the enabler ↳ Explain the tech later, but solve their problem first. 4. Keep the message people-first ↳ Always prioritize the customer's perspective. You don't need to lead with AI to impress. All you need is to solve a real problem. Shift your focus back to people-first marketing. Then, use AI to enhance the solution.
