At the Taftie Annual Conference in Bern, about 80 participants discussed how funding agencies can support social innovation - either alone or as part of technology-based innovation.   TAFTIE members and invited experts shared their thoughts on the challenges we face in supporting social innovation and how we can make the most of its potential. 💪   With concrete examples of promotion, the TAFTIE members gained an insight into supported social innovations. Taftie was mentioned in the European Innovation Council (EIC) Impact Report 2023: Accelerating Deep Tech in Europe. In 2023, a robust and mutually beneficial cooperation was established between Taftie and the EIC, which brought together leading innovation stakeholders in Europe and enabled policy debate, exchange of knowledge and best practice. This collaboration, marked by shared goals and a commitment to excellence, is set to continue into the future, promising sustained support for potential applicants, innovation stakeholders and SMEs across Europe. Investment in young companies fell by 35% in 2023 in Switzerland. This is shown by Swiss Venture Capital Report.
