About us
The TED Fellows Program recognizes the folks working on-the-ground on world-changing ideas. To support their work, the program offers them TED’s power to articulate and amplify their vision. A world-changing idea is central to the selection of a Fellow, but our support goes deeper on the personal level. The TED Fellows program supports the individual capacity-building required to take the global stage. We equip TED Fellows with public speaking and media training, professional coaching, educational programming and peer support. We connect TED Fellows to a global network of peers and industry leaders because the only way to succeed is together.

We are thrilled to announce the 2024 cohort of TED Fellows, whose work spans five continents and represents 11 countries — including, for the first time, Georgia. This year’s TED Fellows include an entrepreneur who is reshaping health care in conflict zones, an engineer who created a cold chain solution saving lives in rural African communities and a scientist pioneering new, safer AI technologies — to name just a few. Each TED Fellow was selected for their remarkable achievements, the potential impact of their work and their commitment to community building. TED is honored to welcome these new Fellows into this dynamic global network of 500+ Fellows creating meaningful change in their communities and the world.

The first 36 speakers for TED2024 were just announced and TED Fellow Anjan Sundaram is on the list! We can't wait to have him take the red dot in April and tell us about his recent work following the courageous and dangerous work of indigenous climate defenders in Mexico.

What do an astrophysicist, a labor organizer, an entrepreneur, an ethnomusicologist, and an architect all have in common? They're all TED Fellows at #TEDWomen! TED Fellows traveled from Ukraine, Pakistan, Kenya, Chile, India, the Philippines, and more -- for three days of passionate conversations and rousing sessions here in Atlanta. Erika Hamden spoke about her unique professional journey as an astrophysicist who builds telescopes; quantum physicist Shohini Ghose did a reading from her new book #Herspacehertime; sex educator @Kaz Lucas hosted a workshop on digital intimacy; and author Laurel Braitman gave a heart-wrenching talk on grief and spoke about how there can be no pleasure without pain, or joy without sadness. #TEDFellowsforpresident Kyra D. Ever wonder how the water you flush down the toilet could become drinking water? With climate change we'll likely all be increasingly familiar with this process. TED Fellow Francis de los Reyes III, Ph.D., BCEEM walks us through Singapore's innovative national wastewater recycling program in this informative TED-Ed Lesson.
