About us

Tender Touch Therapy employs Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapists to provide services for pediatric and young adult patients in Southeastern Wisconsin. Our therapists work with clients and their families to provide individualized, or group, therapeutic programming which will enhance, challenge, and encourage patients to increase their independence and improve their lifelong wellness. As a comprehensive team, we implement creative and effective treatment strategies in order to maximize functional independence and achieve patient-specific goals.

  • Help us give a warm welcome to our Marketing Intern for the 10th Annual Tri My Best Triathlon - Kenosha, Maddie! 👋👋👋 ⭐ Maddie joined our team in the middle of June 2024. She is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Psychology at UW-Madison. ⭐ She is most looking forward to participating in her first TMB Triathlon and gaining valuable clinical experience. ⭐ In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, spending time with friends, hanging out with her dog, and working out. ⭐ She hopes to become an Occupational Therapist and has a strong interest in adapted physical activity. Organizing the TMB Triathlon aligns perfectly with her career interests and passions. ⭐ She is from Pleasant Prairie, WI, and her favorite snack is chocolate chip cookies.

  • Help us give a warm welcome to the newest addition to our speech team, Sami! 👋👋👋 ⭐ Sami joined our team in June 2024. Her background features a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Psychology from UW-Madison and a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Marquette University. ⭐ She is most looking forward to getting to know so many kids and families along with collaborating with other clinicians across professions. ⭐ In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors. ⭐ She became an SLP because she loves working with kids and values the importance of communication in enhancing their quality of life. Being part of a team with patients, families, and other professionals is something she finds truly rewarding. ⭐ She is from Delafield, WI, and her favorite snack is watermelon.

  • Help us give a warm welcome to the newest addition to our speech team, Morgan! 👋👋👋 ⭐ Morgan joined our team in June 2024. Her background features a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Psychology from UW-Whitewater and a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Marquette University. ⭐ She is most looking forward to the unique collaboration opportunities with other disciplines to establish a care team for patients, and she appreciates the abundance of mentoring opportunities to continue growing her clinical skills. ⭐ In her free time, she enjoys being active, spending time outdoors, and diving into self-care activities. ⭐ She became an SLP because of her personal experiences overcoming a speech impediment and her desire to help young children improve their quality of life. Additionally, her parents' experiences with SLP services after their strokes further inspired her passion for the field. ⭐ She is from Kimberly, WI, and her favorite snacks are Doritos and sea salt and vinegar chips.

Her background features a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Psychology at UW-Madison and my Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology at Marquette University. ⭐ She is most looking forward to learning and collaborating with other SLPs, OTs, and PTs to work with patients in such a positive and fun environment. ⭐ In her free time she enjoys reading, going to workout classes, and spending time with her friends. ⭐ She became an SLP because she loves working with kids and being able to integrate play into therapy. “I really enjoy being able to see the progress and build relationships with the patients that I work with.” ⭐ She is from Mequon, WI and her favorite food is pasta.
