We renew our promise to protect and defend our people, our rights, our environment, and our progress. We commit to deploy our resources, speaking up for what is right and speaking out against injustice.   The Golden State has weathered dark storms of division before, as has our nation, but we have always come back stronger, persistent in our pursuit of progress. The Outwords Archive (OUTWORDS) Archive honored Cal Wellness CEO Richard Tate with the OUTWORDS Legacy Award last week at its 2nd Annual HISTORY = HOPE awards ceremony. The Legacy Award honors an individual for lasting contributions to the #LGBTQ+ community and its growth and evolution, and Richard was honored for his deeply important and meaningful work as OUTWORDS’ founding board chair, and for his ongoing contributions to the organization as board chair emeritus. The newly released 2024 State of Philanthropy Tech survey report reveals significant developments in the technology environment, practices, and perceptions across the global philanthropic community since the last survey in 2022.
