Horns Up, future ADV 373/PR 377K students! The purpose of this announcement is to recruit students for a very exciting section of the Integrated Communication Campaigns (ICC) course this spring. The course will be taught by Dr. Liza Lewis, Executive Director of The Lab, and will take place in The Lab! The purpose of the special section is to allow our most talented and motivated students to work in a student run agency on a project for entry in the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) national student competition (NSAC). The 2025 client sponsor of the competition is packaged communications giant: ATT. We are part of AAF’s District 10. That means the first level of competition includes universities in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The first round of competition will take place in April 2025. All students on the NSAC team will attend the entire conference. There is no cost to the student team – all fees, travel, and additional campaigns costs are covered by The Lab. In order to apply for admission – fill out the application using the QR code or the link below. The application includes: 1. A cover letter (explaining why you should represent UT in the NSAC competition and what value you will add to the UT team – limit the letter to one page and use block business format). 2. Your current résumé (include your portfolio link if you have one); and 3. Submit both documents no later than Wednesday, October 9th at EOD (end of day = 6:00PM CST).
