Excited to see more great coverage coming out of our media event last week, this time from David Zoia in WardsAuto.   Dave writes, “Like its Skip Fire ICE counterpart, DMD is designed to ensure the BEV powertrain is running in its most efficient state under all modes of operation. As a driver accelerates, decelerates or maintains a constant speed in a BEV, the motor isn’t always operating at its peak torque efficiency. Tula has designed the Dynamic Motor Drive (DMD) which removes reliance on REE and gives you more efficiency at a lower cost.  DMD is a software solution that improves Externally Excited Synchronous Motors (EESMs) and other Rare Earth (RE)-free motors.
