Union Square continues to be a prime destination for exciting pop-up events, drawing a diverse crowd and hosting a variety of activities. Recently, American Express hosted their Amex Gold Cafe at 31 E 17th St, partnering with Dunkin'' and Resy to deliver a unique and memorable dining experience. Highlights included dishes from popular spots like Rubirosa, a ‘Last Light’ five-course meal featuring iconic New York City restaurants, and Döňůt by Dunkin’, a gourmet spin on classic Dunkin' favorites. With robust foot traffic, a resurgence of retail and dining, and the return of students to the area, Union Square is buzzing with opportunities for temporary experiences that leave a lasting impression. We can't wait to see who calls our neighborhood their temporary home next! 📷: Peter Joseph DiLorenzo

Minuto di Bauli, the renowned Italian baked goods brand known for its pandoro and panettone, is bringing its first-ever U.S. brick-and-mortar cafe to New York City! Bauli just signed a 10-year lease for 2,970 sq. ft. space at 866 Broadway, a historic building in our Union Square district. Bauli's European cafés, Minuto di Bauli, offer a delicious assortment of pastries and coffee, with seven locations across Italy and Austria. And now, NYC is next on the list! “Every decision Bauli makes is strategic," says RIPCO Real Estate's Emily Kripitz, who helped secure the location, "and they found the perfect spot for their U.S. debut." Stay tuned for updates on when you can grab your first bite of authentic Italian goodness in the heart of NYC.

📢 Today I had the pleasure of joining the New York City Department of Transportation to celebrate the completion of this phase of the Broadway Vision Plan, which connects Union Square into a remarkable network of world class public space in the heart of Manhattan. You might’ve recently seen people enjoying Union Square's newest plaza block on Broadway from 17th to 18th Streets, which expands the incredibly popular and much-needed pedestrian space north of Union Square Park. Thank you to Commissioner Ydanis Rodriguez for his dedication and commitment to creating larger, safer people-first spaces for New Yorkers and to the entire NYCDOT team who worked make this vision a reality (Sean Quinn Emily Weidenhof Jessica Cronstein Melina Lawrence Kyle Gorman and more!). Deep gratitude to Ed Janoff Tali Cantor, AICP Sally Burns for leading Union Square Partnership's efforts on this project. Congratulations to our partners at Flatiron NoMad Partnership, who have been a leader in transformational public space and a great collaborator on this project. And thank you to NYS Assembly Member Harvey Epstein, Jackson Chabot of Open Plans, Inc., and Paragon Sports CEO Zachary Blank for joining today's ribbon cutting and speaking about how important this project is to the community. Modernizing our district's public realm is a top priority for Union Square Partnership, building on our neighborhood's strong live-work-play fundamentals to create a truly world-class experience throughout our park, plazas and streets. We look forward to working with the City to fulfill our #USQNext Vision Plan, building on the successes we've seen on Broadway. Come experience the new plaza with us if you haven’t already - Union Square can’t wait to host you! 🚲🚶♀️ #BroadwayVision #UnionSquare #publicrealm #pedestrianplaza #NewYorkCity #Manhattan

Nicholas Haines, CEO of The Bromley Companies and Union Square Partnership board member, is driving a modern approach in curating their building mix to attract office tenants while also incorporating desirable ground-floor uses that enhance the overall neighborhood. Bromley is leading the way with a strategic and forward-thinking approach to office space in an era of change and evolution.

Some office landlords have espoused an "arms race" type mentality in trying to build and operate their "own" amenities for tenants. At Bromley, we have focused on trying to curate best-in-class retail operators to enhance our buildings. At 120-122 Fifth, we have added Levain Bakery, NYC's best bakery serving coffee and delicious cookies and baked goods adjacent to our lobby, Vuori, a best-in-class athleisure brand about to open its NYC flagship (come join the 8/23 grand opening!), who is offering fitness classes on our rooftop space, and a soon to be announced branded wellness center that will offer saunas, cold plunges, and IV drips among other offerings. Not only do these retail partner offer incredible F&B and fitness experiences in a way no landlord ever could do on their own, but they actually pay us a bit of rent too for the 12,000 sf in the buildings they occupy!
