Our Wellmore Mine Rescue Team competed this week at the Post 7 Mine Rescue contest at Virginia Highlands Community College in Abingdon, VA 📍 Day 1 was The Governor’s Cup, and Day 2 was the 2nd Annual Overmountain Men Mine Rescue Contest 🤩 There were 9 teams in the competition. Our Team Placed in the following: 1st place at Governor’s Cup 1st place at Overmountain Men 1st place overall Mine Rescue Post 7 3rd place First Aid Mine Rescue Team members: Anthony Grizzle John Little Johnny Branham Joey Fuller Josh Diles Todd Ward Jordan Curry Chris Turner Your hard work, expertise, and teamwork make us all proud! These achievements highlight the importance of mine safety and the incredible skill of our rescue team 🏆
