Mallard Townes Rezoning Approval! 🎉 UDP is excited to announce that Charlotte’s City Council has unanimously approved the rezoning for Mallard Townes, bringing 64 thoughtfully designed townhomes to district 2! This project prioritizes walkability and connectivity, featuring a 12' shared-use path along Mallard Creek Road, 8' sidewalks along Hubbard Road and Bisaner Street, and frontage improvements on Bisaner Street to accommodate on-street parking. Additionally, landscape buffers and green spaces will help preserve the neighborhood’s character while enhancing its appeal.

For those who don’t know what an Urby is it’s our “employee of the month.” Every month the team nominates someone(s) and our Ops group chooses the winner for each office (Raleigh Ops members choose the Charlotte winner and vise versa). Cedar Walk will always be a special projects because it was our very first project. It was a great mixed-use project that we worked through multiple phases with an amazing project team. It included townhomes, live-work units, commercial and office components. Real Estate Development Partners, LLC took a chance with a new firm in 2005 and we are still working together 20-years later.
