We are pleased to announce The Nonprofit Institute at USD is now accepting applications for our annual governance awards! 2025 Kaleidoscope Award for Good Governance 2025 TRUST Award of Excellence in Philanthropy Each year, we confer these awards to boards who demonstrate transformational practices in governance. The annual Kaleidoscope Award for Good Governance recognizes, celebrates, promotes and inspires leadership in nonprofit governance from organizations throughout the San Diego region. Like a kaleidoscope, the work of nonprofit governance is intricate, varied and involves viewing the organization through a variety of lenses. Nonprofit governance works best when viewed through three lenses: fiduciary, strategic and generative. Good boards are dedicated volunteers who understand which lens to apply at any given time, to provide leadership that enhances an organization's ability to fulfill its mission. The annual TRUST Award of Excellence in Philanthropy recognizes the work of foundation boards that align their mission with community needs, responsibly manage resources, uphold transparency, and contribute to long-term positive impacts in the areas they aim to address. While the structure and mission may differ from that of a public charity, the practice of governance in public and private foundations is important to the health and well-being of the nonprofit sector and the communities served. Follow the links below to apply! 2025 Kaleidoscope Award Application: https://lnkd.in/gd6vt_Xp 2025 TRUST Award Application: https://lnkd.in/ggeRF4Uz Applications are due by November 29th, 2024
