On Tuesday, we had the pleasure of attending the groundbreaking ceremony for a new Center for Military Families at the Armed Services YMCA San Diego. This important facility will play a crucial role in providing the essential childcare services that military families require. We extend our sincere gratitude to all those who have contributed to making this project a reality.
🎉 Armed Services YMCA San Diego is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of our new Center for Military Families! Today’s event marked the beginning of construction and a celebration of the many generous donors and community supporters who have worked behind the scenes for the past two years to raise funds for this project. We are thankful for the more than 150 friends who came out to celebrate this momentous occasion with us. We are filled with gratitude and excited for our future. The new Center will more than double our capacity to serve military children, and includes a brand new playground, Diamond field and soccer field.
