Are you keeping up the Equinox Project Quality of Life Dashboard? Check out the latest update on the Water Use indicator!
Water Use received a thumbs-up rating! Residential water use decreased by 15% in 2023. The average resident used 73 gallons of water per day, compared to 86 gallons in 2022. About two thirds of the region’s water supply comes from the Colorado River, making water source diversification incredibly important for a proactive and resilient region. As a family or individual, there are many ways you can reduce your water usage. Doing so saves you money on costs and reduces overall water demand for the county.
