Jensen Huang was speaking about his and Nvidia’s journey to an awe-struck corporate crowd at an event in Mumbai on Friday when his company, according to Reuters, “dethroned Apple as the world's most valuable company following a record-setting rally in the stock powered by an insatiable demand for its new supercomputing.” Huang, in his trademark black jacket, spoke about India’s future potential as a front office for the fast-expanding intelligence industry as Nvidia's stock market value briefly touched $3.53 trillion, while that of Apple was $3.52 trillion, according to data from LSEG. “Make AI your team member”, he told Economic Times Executive Editor Sruthijith KK, adding that he himself was using AI to learn more about AI! #artificialintelligence #gpu #intelligenceindustry #frontoffice #nvidia #computing

USIBC is yet again thrilled to partner with the U.S. Department of State, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, and nasscom in organizing the India-U.S. ICT Working Group meeting in New Delhi. The meeting was formally launched by His Excellency Eric Garcetti, U.S. Ambassador to India and Shri S Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY. The discussion was chaired by Ambassador Steve Lang, U.S. Coordinator for International Communications and Information Policy, and Shri Nagaraj Naidu Kakanur IFS, Joint Secretary, Americas Division, Ministry of External Affairs, Ms. Amy Schedlbauer , Minister-Counselor for Economic Affairs and Shri Sushil Pal, Joint Secretary International Cooperation, Meity. The meeting addressed three key areas. For IT/IT-enabled services, discussions focused on job creation, tackling critical skill gaps in GCCs, cross-border data flows, data privacy, and AI collaboration. In electronics and semiconductors, participants explored ways to strengthen electronic manufacturing supply chains, collaborate on semiconductor supply chains, and enhance workforce development and training in the semiconductor field. The advanced telecommunications segment covered topics such as 5G/ORAN, quantum communications, and 6G collaboration, highlighting future-oriented tech cooperation between the U.S. and India. USIBC MD Rahul Sharma noted, "In recent years, through sustained efforts by both governments and industry, the ICT Working Group has become a premier forum for identifying areas of strategic technological cooperation between the U.S. and India. USIBC and industry members greatly appreciate the attention both governments have given to addressing industry concerns."
