We discussed all things related to marketing for the construction industry, including a deep dive into the proposal process, concluding with a firsthand look at our JPMorgan Chase project in Union, NJ. Today, I celebrate 1 year of employment with Vericon Construction! It is hard to put into words my gratitude and enjoyment. I took a huge risk leaving the education industry, and I am thankful that I do not regret that decision. Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most intelligent and dedicated team members. From supporting colleagues in their LEED Green Associate exam prep, creating 10+ safety training presentations, and assisting in administering new hire orientation for more than 35 employees, it’s been a year of growth and achievement. A heartfelt thank you to my external support system for encouraging me to invest in myself and take this leap. And, to my Vericon colleagues, for helping me build confidence in my abilities and making every day at work fulfilling. Here’s to many more milestones and achievements to come!

Vericon Construction was recognized for our Outstanding Safety Record in 2023 from both Associated General Contractors of America and Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey! I was proud to accept our awards at the annual ACCNJ Safety Awards with our General Superintendent, Ken Hilarczyk. We were awarded the Certificate of Commendation for Excellent Safety Record 2023 from AGC and the certificate recognizing Zero Lost Workdays from ACCNJ. I have learned an incredible amount about safety in the construction industry over the last 11 months working alongside David Mellett, STS-C and Brian Besser, STS-C. I look forward to my future with Vericon Construction!
