Congratulations to Christian Sanchez and Jose Marin, our 2024 Employees of the Year, for being honored at the National Industries for the Blind (NIB) Conference last week! 👏
Christian was our nominee for the Milton J. Samuelson Career Achievement Award.
Christian goes above and beyond in his role as an assistive technology trainer at Vibrant Works. An expert in braille, JAWS software, and other assistive technologies, he is the lead for the “iCanConnect” program and travels the city providing devices and training for those with hearing and vision impairments, a service unique to the South Texas area. Christian joined Vibrant Works in 2021 and uses his experiences to support and empower others.
Marin was our nominee for the Peter J. Salmon Award.
For 20 years, Jose, affectionately known as “Marin,” has been a valued member of Vibrant Works. A cashier at the Randolph Air Force Base Supply Center (BSC), Marin takes pride in enhancing store presentations and ensuring customers have a positive experience. He’s been chosen to help reset other BSC stores due to his merchandising knowledge. Marin joined Vibrant Works in 2002, and he always prioritizes products from the AbilityOne Program, an initiative close to his heart.
Join us as we celebrate their outstanding contributions and achievements. Way to go, Christian and Marin!
