Long Post Alert: In our line of business, the feedback we tend to receive is more often than not of the negative variety. This unfortunately, is the nature of being a vendor in the SNF space. We know we're providing a quality service, evidenced by our growth and client retention, along with client surveys, but the unsolicited feedback tends to be reactionary, and overwhelmingly negative. But every once in a while we have weeks like this one, where we get unsolicited positive feedback from both clients and employees, and it helps balance out the harder days in the business: Vitae Clinician: I hope all is well with you. I would like to extend by gratitude for the merit increase. Working for VITAE Health System has been wonderful and fulfilling since I joined the company in May of 2018. I have nothing but positive remarks about VITAE when anyone asks me how things are going. I spoke with _______ yesterday as she requested to speak with another VITAE NP regarding the work environment and how VITAE functioned as a company. I provided her with positive feedback on the support system, resources available, and VITAE as a stable company to work for. She seemed very satisfied at the end of our conversation. I appreciate all that VITAE has done for me and my family! Behavioral Health Client, Illinois: I just wanted to give a shout out to Tom and the team at Vitae. Tom was very helpful with a resident situation at _______ this morning. I appreciate the quick response, his willingness to help, and the authorization that he received from your office to jump in and assist and not worry about waiting for insurance auth or intake d/t it being a crisis situation. Tom has been a great asset to the team at ________. I consistently get great reports on him and I also often see him rounding and with residents while I am at the facility. This is exactly the type of partnership and support we are looking to foster with our vendor services. Please let Tom and your team know we appreciate them very much! Primary Care Client, Operator in Illinois: So I am reviewing the hospital transfer data and I wanted to share the progress. (Illinois SNF #1) is really doing well & we've had some good progress at (Illinois SNF #2). Can’t share the struggles and not the successes! As a SNF vendor and employer, feedback like this is always great to receive and helps us as a company, and indivuals, maintain our focus and drive. Thank you to all of our clients that come to us with all feedback, good and bad - these types of partnerships are what we're looking for with all of our clients. Whether you're a client of ours or not, if you're not coming to your vendors and service providers with both positive and negative feedback, please ask yourself why, and try to be balanced moving forward.
