Viterra US recently concluded its 12-week summer internship programme, an initiative designed to empower college students with real-world experiences in the agriculture industry. Our 36 interns travelled to Viterra facilities all over the US to build the skills necessary to be successful in their fields, connect with executives and other young professionals, and explore different career paths within Viterra. Interns also enjoyed leisure activities like a visit to Omaha’s zoo. Returning intern Chad Preble reflected on his experience at Viterra. “Over the past two summers at Viterra as an Application Development Intern, I’ve been fortunate to work with colleagues, managers, and mentors who have prioritised my growth. I’ve gained immense knowledge and experience as a software developer and valuable insights into Viterra and its operations. The positive impact that Viterra and its people have had on both my personal and professional life cannot be overstated.” Congratulations to these interns for successfully finishing their #internships. We hope to see them back at Viterra soon! #theagriculturenetwork

Our Omaha office celebrated its annual Safety Kickoff last week! Instead of limiting the fun to one day, the EHS team held several interactive sessions throughout the week, kicking it off with guests John Caupert, Executive Director of GEAPS (Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS)) and Jess McCluer, Senior Vice President of Safety and Regulatory for the NGFA (National Grain and Feed Association) speaking on safety as a key factor to a successful organization. Additional sessions throughout the week prepared colleagues for various types of emergencies from fire to medical and more. Thank you to our EHS team for coordinating the stations, to everyone who participated in our safety training sessions and a special thank you to our Culture Committee for making it possible! #annualsafetykickoff #safetykickoffweek #weareviterra #viterraus

Congratulations to our 2024 Elevate cohort! This week Viterra colleagues completed Elevate, our 10-month leadership development program. In partnership with Creighton University, Elevate gives colleagues the opportunity to gain greater insight into Viterra, develop the skillsets to address challenges, and implement solutions across the organization. By learning from business professors at Creighton University, participants grew as leaders and applied what they learned through a variety of capstone projects. Please join us in congratulating these individuals on their achievements! #elevate #professionaldevelopment #viterraus
