Sandra Garcia-Swofford's journey to becoming the General Manager of Energy Services at ChampionX is a testament to the impact of hard work and cultural values. Growing up in Colorado in a Colombian immigrant family, she learned the importance of discipline and responsibility from an early age, primarily through her father, a lead geologist. His dedication to science and passion for his work inspired both Sandra and her sisters to pursue meaningful careers.
Beginning her professional path in chemical engineering, Sandra gained valuable experience, developed her project management skills, and built a network across diverse cultures. Her Hispanic heritage has significantly influenced her leadership style, instilling a strong focus on collaboration, community, and resilience. As a leader, she emphasizes continuous improvement and encourages her team to view challenges as opportunities for growth.
