There are dime-a-dozen conferences and events each year, especially in the energy industry. So what makes Baker Hughes Annual Meeting special? I've had the privilege to attend and contribute to Baker Hughes annual event three years now, and with one of the largest attendance we've seen yet - over 2300 global customers, partners and stakeholders - there's a lot that can be said about the event. Here're my takeaways this year: ✔️𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: Baker Hughes Nuovo Pignone is an integral part of the history the Tuscan region, and hence, the city of Florence offers one of the most charming and beautiful settings for the event. I got a chance to visit our Florence Learning Center for the first time, and appreciated the rich legacy of innovation at Baker Hughes. Kicking off the annual meeting with an opulent opera show at a historical Opera House is an experience only available at #BHAM! Baker Hughes’ CEO Lorenzo Simonelli’s keynote and his reflections on #BHAM2025 talked about progressing at scale, a key theme of the future not just for us, but the industry as well.  ✔️𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗮 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆: We continued to focus on sustainability of the event, with improvements made in how we measure, track and reduce our emissions, as well as contributing to the local community. As a strategic initiative, we also introduced sustainability advisory via our GaffneyCline™ energy advisory – marking a significant milestone that shows sustainability will remain a competitive advantage for us, as well as create value for our customers. I deeply cherish the in-person planning, team meetings, prep work, events, meet ups, dinners as well as sight seeing that allows me to get to know my global colleagues better, in-person.  I’m so proud of all the team members - too many to tag here - who worked hard to pull off another fantastic Annual meeting experience, and I look forward to delivering #ProgressAtScale with them. #WeAreBakerHughes #SustainableEnergyDevelopment #BHAM2025 #Sustainability
