It was the launch of a movement! 🚀✨ We proudly launched Google MADE W/ CODE in partnership with Obscura Digital. The event was tailored to junior high school kids in New York City with an interest in the power of code. ➡️ To keep attendees engaged, we proved that "What you love is made with code!" Peppering #interactive displays throughout the event, incorporating fashion and travel as an opportunity to engage with students. ➡️ With only a month's lead time, MAS developed a dynamic stage for A-list speakers Mindy Kaling and Chelsea Clinton providing a physical platform for a world Made with Code.

When Google tasked us with elevating their Google for Education Leaders Series Summit, we knew it had to be more than just another event. The challenge? Bringing 200 VIPs and 50 Googlers from across Europe together for two days where attendees could build knowledge and relationships in an inspiring setting. Our approach focused on creating a space for leaders to explore critical themes like #AI, Privacy & Security, along with interactive tech experiences like the #GeminiAI workshop, while also fostering deeper connections through vital wellness and networking activities. The two days were made more accessible through live translation in 4 languages, alongside student-led demos and interactive workshops, every detail was designed with purpose. Our highlight was an exclusive evening at the Stedelijk Museum, providing a unique networking opportunity in a captivating environment, reinforcing Google’s commitment to creating meaningful experiences for their partners 🖼️ The result? Attendees left feeling more informed, connected, and ready to act on what they’d learned 🚀 We’re always grateful to support Google and bring their vision to life. Big thanks to our partner Kate Howell (née Kemp). #LeadershipSummit #Google #AmsterdamEvents

The Opus Group is proud to partner with Event Leaders Exchange (ELX) on their mission to evolve and shape the future of corporate events. ELX is an invitation-only community for Global Heads of Events from the world's largest corporations. It's a space for industry experts to collaborate, share knowledge, and solve challenges...and we're thrilled to be a part of it!

Following the events of last week, we would like to share a heartfelt thank you to our amazing partners at ELX for their unwavering support of the Event Leaders Exchange (ELX) Community.🌟 ELX would not exist without their generosity and belief in our mission to empower senior corporate event leaders. Their contribution to this community allows us to create meaningful connections, share invaluable insights, and drive innovation in the events industry. ELX simply wouldn't be the powerful network it is today without their support, thought leadership, and collaboration. Augeo, Choose Chicago, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority - LVCVA, The Opus Group - we are incredibly grateful for your commitment—not only as partners but as visionaries in our industry. Together, we are building something truly special. 🙌

That’s a wrap on #IMEX2024! With more than 20 Opus Agency team members on the ground, we found a ton of new inspiration, but one thing remains the same — IMEX is THE networking event of our industry. Sr. Solutions Architect Brad Rankin shared a few of his top #takeaways: 💪 The 2025 industry outlook is positive, with more modest price increases and a shift toward consultative, trust-based buyer-supplier relationships. (See the latest  the latest Northstar Meetings Group/Cvent survey.) ✈️ The outlook for incentive travel is also very strong. According to the latest The Incentive Research Foundation Travel Index, incentive travel is poised for growth, with rising budgets over the next two years. ⚾ The connection between sports and corporate meetings is expanding, with cities like Paris, London, and New Orleans leveraging major events like the Olympics and Super Bowl to attract business. Sports-related exhibitors, including Major League Baseball (MLB), are also increasing their presence at IMEX. 🤖  Sessions with AI in their titles were hugely popular, but the industry is moving beyond the "AI Everything" phase toward a more strategic use of AI. Platforms like Zenus analyze facial micro-expressions to provide real-time speaker coaching and attendee engagement metrics. Additional tech insights highlight new trends in planning timelines, tech budgets, and strategies for combating late registrations. 🎯 Acquisitions by large industry players like Cvent have opened a competitive space in the mid-tier event ecosystem, with platforms like Swoogo, Accelevents, and EventMobi acquiring larger market share in the “deliver quality, simply” space. 💙 Brand values took center stage, with subtle and overt reminders of their presence. Sessions emphasized personal connections, featuring themes like balance, perspective, community, and collaboration. The future of our industry is bright! What other key takeaways did you leave with? ➡ Share your thoughts in the comments below.
