Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending an inspiring event with Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) and energyRe in NYC! It was an incredible opportunity to not only connect with like-minded professionals but also, I was reminded of the power that comes from truly listening, understanding, and supporting one another. Special shout-out to the amazing individuals in the photo Rayya Fahed Pilar Arriaga Elaine Lamm Sarina Musallam for the insightful conversations and shared wisdom, and special thank you to the WRISE Executive Director Doseke Akporiaye for creating a space where we can thrive, support each other, and grow together. Looking back at the past year, I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing women I’ve had the privilege of working with—colleagues, clients, & friends who are breaking barriers & driving the clean energy industry forward. Their mentorship, collaboration, & leadership continue to inspire me every day - from implementing innovative new project finance strategies to breaking solar & storage deployment records. I’m also thrilled that as of this year, Dylan Green has officially partnered with American Clean Power Association (ACP) & Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) to amplify the voices of underrepresented leaders in cleantech, & enable women to continue to learn & grow at any stage of their cleantech careers. This #WomensHistoryMonth, I’d also like to reiterate the importance of, & my gratitude for, strong male allies who actively advocate for, mentor, & uplift women in cleantech, including men like Jigar Shah & Tom Weirich. By working together, we can empower even more people to drive the innovations & solutions needed for a cleaner, more sustainable future.
