In 2024, WCK supported families affected by conflict, natural disasters, and the worsening impacts of the climate crisis in 20 countries, providing over 109 million meals. As we close out #ChefsForMayotte, we are reflecting on the unique challenges the team overcame. Here's a peek into how we served over 1.4 million meals to communities impacted by Cyclone Chido.

This weekend, WCK's first Rapid Response Mobile Kitchen made its LA debut. With this new addition to the fleet, our teams can serve up to 20,000 meals per day to impacted families across the U.S., especially in hard-to-reach areas. Meet the newest one-of-a-kind truck in WCK’s fleet! 🚛 Chef Wendy is in Altadena, where our team is cooking shrimp and tofu curry in our new Rapid Response Mobile Kitchen for families affected by the Los Angeles fires. Built with support from Wells Fargo, the vehicle allows us to prepare thousands of meals in hard-hit communities immediately after a disaster. Our Relief Team deploys the 43-foot truck to cook tens of thousands of meals per day. #ChefsForCalifornia

Hurricane Helene may feel like ages ago, but the recovery job isn't done. Our teams are still distributing hot meals to NC & TN communities with the help of grassroots organizations. By empowering local leaders, our teams have served over 1.6 million meals since October 2024. #ChefsForNorthCarolina
