    As the Paris Olympics captivated audiences around the world, XR was proud to be the only certified partner to uniquely deliver ads to linear AND streaming platforms during NBCU's coverage. Additionally, our Creative Intelligence platform analyzed the creative during the games and revealed a promising increase in darker skin tone representation, with 38% of Olympic ads featuring darker skin tones—surpassing this year's H1 U.S. TV ads, which stood at 28%. This is a notable improvement compared to the Super Bowl ads, which only showed 14.3% for dark skin representation. However, when it comes to gender representation, there’s still work to be done, with ads falling 3% below the first-half benchmark of 43%. Read more about these insights now.

Back in June at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, we held a celebration for Smokey looking back at how his iconic image and simple message have resonated with generation after generation. Smokey's legacy is a testament to the power of clear messaging and thoughtful evolution. His ability to adapt to changing times while staying true to his core message is a masterclass in effective communication. In fact, his famous slogan, “Only you can prevent wildfires”, still resonates with 80% of Americans to this day. Part of what has made Smokey so enduring is his emphasis on making sure his messaging is accessible to all, regardless of ability.
