🌍✨ OUR APPROACH AT YNA We’re committed to equipping the next generation of environmental negotiators with the skills, knowledge, community and resources to drive impactful change in multilateral decision-making spaces. Here’s how we do it: 🔹 Building Capacity: We empower young negotiators through tailored training that enhances their negotiation, leadership, technical and soft skills. Investing in the professional capabilities is key for navigating the complexity of UN discussions. 🔹Community-Building: We create a supportive network where trained Young Negotiators (YNs) connect and grow within a global ecosystem. Building networks and relationships are vital for effective negotiation and governance. 🔹 Advocacy and Outreach: We amplify the voices of Young Negotiators (YNs) in decision-making processes, ensuring inclusivity and embracing diversity. 🔹Fundings and Grants: We fundraise to ensure representation from all the 5 UN regions, providing Travel and Subsistence Grants to tackle systemic financial barriers for their participation in UN negotiations. Ahead of the Bonn Climate Change Conference SB 60, we gathered funders (past, present and future) of the Youth Negotiators Academy in Berlin for a one day workshop, co-hosted with Robert Bosch Stiftung. 🎖️This workshop was a great way to bring together a trusted community to discuss our collective vision. Our objectives were to: 🌟 Foster a cohesive community of funders dedicated to supporting the ongoing growth and impact of YNA. 🌟 Cultivate trust and collaboration among fellow funders to strengthen the collective impact of their investments. 🌟 Establish sustainable financial resources and reserves to ensure the continued operations and expansion of the organisation. We hope to continue to host these gatherings and keep building a network of those dedicated to supporting the ongoing growth and impact of YNA. 🤝Thank you so much to everyone who participated.
