Meet Ashley – a Milwaukee The Bridge Project mom who recently shared her inspiring journey with Carvd N Stone. Her story is one of resilience, strength and the power of community. Ashley is one of 100 mothers we've supported this year with direct cash payments. As we aim to support 22 more mothers in 2025, it’s stories like hers that remind us it’s the people behind the numbers who matter most. Read more about Ashley’s journey here:

Access to unconditional cash can transform lives by empowering families to meet their unique needs and break cycles of poverty. Unconditional cash programs are being implemented nationwide, such as Sacramento County's Family First Economic Support Pilot which demonstrates the potential of guaranteed income to reduce disparities and support vulnerable communities. The Zilber Family Foundation’s support for The Bridge Project here in Milwaukee aligns with this mission—showcasing the profound impact unconditional cash has on mothers supporting their newborn babies.
